Working in natural gas program

Many believe they can just walk onto a job site and go to work in the oil and gas industry. However, there’s a few steps that must come before anyone can start working.

The Working in Natural Gas (WiNG) program prepares people to work in the industry. WiNG students get an introduction to natural gas, its chemical and physical properties, as well as extraction methods and their application. They will have a basic understanding of the industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

Cultural awareness is vital in today’s industry. WiNG students will understand the land regulatory process, including treaties with First Nations and land acknowledgments, and why they’re important.
